Rear-facing travel helps protect your child by allowing the padded shell to absorb and distribute forces in a frontal collision. CYBEX reports up to 50% higher safety levels compared with a conventional forward-facing seat, based on its internal testing. Rear-facing travel is required until at least 15 months and is recommended for longer, ideally up to four years.
